Why I'm here, worshipping the written word for our wellbeing and inviting you to join me



The written word has saved my life on more than one occasion. Dramatic statement? Possibly, yet it is utter truth. I have navigated my way through adoption trauma, abuse, eating disorders, divorce, narcissistic relationships and much more besides...and I'm still here and still smiling and it's in no small way, down to my journal.

I'm both grateful and honoured to have you here, and can promise to offer you lots of ways the written word can improve your holistic wellbeing.

Mighty Yet Gentle

"When the spoken word feels too violent to face, the written word has a gentle truth that allows you time to come to terms with reality. It holds your hand while you face the energetic violence of your trauma".

It's not just a hobby. At fifty two, I am now a Mindfulness and Journal Therapy Coach, along with being a Vibrational Health Practitioner. It is both my personal and professional experience that informs my utter belief in the written word as the fastest, most powerful, yet gentle route to your truth.

Conscious Journaling

This is a method of journaling that moves beyond the existing mindful journaling practice. I 've witnessed some phenomenal insights and breakthroughs from my clients and it has also become my personal go-to selfcare practice (along with heading to nature, but more on that another time). This takes you much deeper into your process of self development, it crosses time lines and has you working in the realm of a deeper consciousness. I will share more of this method through this blog.


An Organic Fusion of Practices

"The fusion of mindfulness, journaling and working with the energetic body led to the birth of Conscious Journaling. It is journaling but not as you know it"

I will be exploring all flavours of journaling with you here. Morning Pages, gratitude, themes journals such as relationships and career, body connectivity, and creative journaling. We will also consider poetry, haiku, expressive and automatic writing, along with memoir and nature writing, and what treasures they hold for our holistic wellbeing.
