MINDFUL JOURNALING
Mindfulness and journaling are a natural pairing. Bringing mindful awareness to your journaling practice utterly enriches the experience. When we lift our pen, having brought ourselves into the moment, we are in a wonderful place to really receive the prompt and allow its effect to flow through us. The mind is quietened, allowing us to focus for a few moments on our journaling. We can also become far more aware of our periphery reaction to a prompt, reflecting on not just the words written but also how they made us feel and respond. By practicing mindfulness with your journaling, you are also gifting yourself a regular space to pause and calm the mind, which is time never wasted.

CONSCIOUS JOURNALING
This form of journaling has been developed by Soul to Page and is a natural progression of Mindful Journaling. It is a heart-centred practice organically born from these sessions and brings a deeper level of self-development work and self-awareness. Working thematically, we address our relationship with various topics, such as anxiety, relationships, expectations, our inner child, and our body. During these sessions, you will never be asked to share your journaled words, purely your experience of the process. We work very closely with a set of precepts and a Code of Care to ensure you experience a safe space to explore these issues both in sessions and during your own practice. These alone produce a wonderful effect on your relationship with the self. I have repeatedly witnessed the profoundly healing effect this work can bring.


CREATIVE JOURNALING
Working primarily with the sacral chakra, these sessions assist you to connect with and release your creativity. It is a safe space in which to have fun, explore voice, and play. Working with a picture prompt, allow your pen to take you on a journey. Some people find they write poetry, prose, or create pictures…often it can be all three. There are no rules.
In this session, there is the opportunity to share your journaling, however, this is never expected. The choice always remains with you.
Interestingly, over time, many people notice a pattern or themes emerging from their journaling, which has a personal relevance to them.

INTUITIVE JOURNALING
We all have the inner compass of intuition. However, how we experience this intuition can vary greatly. These sessions are an opportunity to connect with your intuition in whatever way is meaningful for you. Some people experience it as simply an ‘inner knowing’, others as a connection to spirit guides and angels, in fact, there are many ways we perceive our intuition. Others sense its presence in the body, either physical or energetic. There is no right or wrong here, simply the truth of your experience.


NATURE CONNECTION JOURNALING
Alongside the written word, a mindful connection to nature is a powerful practice for genuine self-care. These sessions guide you through a sensory experience of nature, continuing that connection onto the page. Working mindfully with all six senses, we focus within the moment to experience nature’s bounty and lessons. A very powerful practice, one’s connection to nature and the self is deeply enriched.
OTHER
Mindfully writing poetry, Haiku, micro poetry, memoir, and personal essays can be extremely illuminating and revealing in terms of self-care and development. The focus of these sessions is not producing a result, rather the experience of the process and what it reveals for you. It is also great fun and offers a variation to your journaling practice.
As with Creative Journaling, you are offered the opportunity to share your work, but this is in no way expected.
